Erin Staton has been appointed assistant pastry chef and in-house chocolatier at Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills in Plymouth, Mass. In this position, Erin is responsible for handcrafting sweets and decadent desserts, including truffles, molded chocolates, decorative chocolate writing, curls and filigree and flavored macarons to complement the inn’s French-inspired food and beverage program.
Erin holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Service Management from Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, N.C. and an Associate Degree in Baking and Pastry from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. Her previous posts include Executive Pastry Chef at Max Ultimate Foods in Boston, and Kitchen Manager at Finale Desserterie and Bakery in Cambridge, Mass. Erin currently resides in Plymouth, Mass.
